Summer Camp Week 2: June 25-29 The First Americans

June 25 - June 29

Students will explore the customs, crafts, and legends of 5 tribes from North America.  Learning about how different tribes made their homes, gathered and prepared food, clothing, transportation, and communicated, students will see how different tribes used their surroundings to meet their needs.  We will prepare food, tell stories, play games, and dance to the music of the first Americans.

Spark the imagination and curiosity with hands-on science experiments exploring science and nature, using the microscope, combining and separating common substances, making slime and ice cream, erupting volcanoes and much more! Ultimately have a BLAST learning about the world around us.

July 23 - July 27

Learn about interesting and important characteristics of the five classes of vertebrates.  Why do some mammals lay eggs? Do some fish really fly? Do dinosaurs exist today? Through stories, crafts, and hands-on experience, the students will ask questions, explore and discover new things about animals.

As they travel around the globe, students will visit five amazing places.  They will explore the how these wonders of the world were made and the people and animals around them.  They will learn about the countries they are located in and enjoy some of the culture, food, art, and music.

First Day of School 2018-2019 for K – 6th Graders (Early Release at 11:40)

August 21 @ 8:00 am - 11:40 am

Welcome back for the 2018-2019 school year! We are very excited to start the year with our kindergartners and our elementary students. Our first day back is a half day, releasing at 11:40AM. There is no minicamp available in the afternoon.
